All operatives hold valid CSCS cards. Supervisors hold SSSTS and managers hold SMSTS, with first aid cover on every active site.
Daily Briefings & Toolbox Talks
Short daily briefings cover the day's hazards, and regular toolbox talks keep working practices sharp and current.
Incident Reporting Culture
Near-misses are reported and reviewed, not buried. We investigate root causes and share learnings across all teams.
CDM 2015 Compliance
We fulfil our duties as principal contractor including construction phase plans, welfare provision and F10 notification where required.

Our Policy Statement
Taisei Construction Ltd accepts its responsibilities under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and all subsequent relevant legislation, including the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
We are committed to providing and maintaining a safe working environment for our employees, our clients, other contractors and members of the public who may be affected by our activities. We will provide the information, instruction, training and supervision necessary to achieve this.
Every employee has a duty to take reasonable care for their own health and safety and that of others, and to co-operate with management in meeting statutory duties. Any employee may stop work immediately if they believe a task cannot be carried out safely, without fear of consequence.
This policy is reviewed annually by the directors, and after any significant incident or change in legislation or working practice. A copy of our full health and safety policy, insurance certificates and SSIP assessments is available to clients on request.
